Tabriz Majlis member Mas`ud Pezeshkian courageously stood up in the Majlis and gave the reactionary majority a lesson in tolerance and humanism as exemplified in the person Imam Ali. Mr. Pezeshkian was himself a former basiji, but called on the assembled to treat all, friend and foe, with forbearance if they do wrong and to listen to opposing views with patience.
The reference at the end to “2-2, 4-4″ would seem to refer to the electoral code of the front-running candidates, or to something more obscure about Islamic Republican parliamentarianism.
Warm thanks to Mina for her help in some harder-to=hear passages. Passages in Arabic from Imam Ali’s epistles are not translated separately, as they are paraphrased adequately in Persian by the Majlis member.

Thanks, bro. I’ll keep it going if you keep on coming back.
The child-protective software on this computer has increased. Does this post contain a video? If so, might it be possible to post a link to a transcription of the speech that was portrayed in it? An Iranian link is best, especially one that would be considered mainstream so as to be considered legitimate by the pro-principalist audience.
I think the thing to do is to reconfigure the software. I have a translation on this video. I haven’t figured I’d have to duplicate my efforts…
Maybe just go to a less up-tight ‘puter : D
