I am a journalist who believes in the rule of law, democracy,
citizen's rights and civil society, particularly in the context of
Iranian politics and media over the past few years.

Invited to speak at the School of Oriental and African Studies,
University of London on "Journalism and Women's Rights in
Iran."
March 2007
Former Irish President Mary Robinson, former Canadian Prime Minister Kim
Campbell and former French Prime Minister Lionel Jospin invited me on
behalf of Club Madrid to speak at the seminar "Women's
Leadership" in Barcelona. I was able to interview them and
published the article in Etemad Melli.
2007
Juror for the International Weblog championship held by Deutche
Welle.
2005
- Published three books, Tahasson, describing the political
turmoil/challenges created when the Sixth Iranian Parliament went on
strike and Taj-e-Khar, a novel, now being translated into
English, and Man Azad Hastam, banned in Iran and published in
Germany in 2008
- Winner of the first annual Omid Journalism Award from Semsar
(Iranian - French Organization)
